This one’s for you Meg 😉
I’ve been living in London for about a month now (not including my first week as a tourist). I now successfully have a NHS number, my NIN number is on its way, and I’m sure there is some other N number I need… I haven’t been paid yet so been keeping things on the down low, but have discovered the glory of Jaffa Cakes and Primark.
As London has recently been named one of the most expensive cities to live in, not being paid for 5 weeks has been a struggle, I’m not going to lie. I have befriended all the local pound shops and discount supermarkets and attempted to walk to places instead of paying exorbitant amounts for the tube. On my days off I try and catch up on my free site seeing activities. Here is a taste of what I’ve been up to….
Mexican Day of the Dead Festival
Poppy Memorial at the London Tower
Overwhelmed at the massive Ikea store
Pretty sunset walks on the South Bank
Exploring ‘Oh So English’ Garden centers
Being amused by signs
